A Group Visit

"Ru-Ru!" Manda went after him. The door was closed.

Steve stood there, eyes wide, looking shocked. "I didn't mean...I'm sorry..."

Ru reached for the handle, crying.

Manda picked him up from behind, holding him close to him in his arms

Ru tried wriggling free.

Manda held him tightly, "No, stop it, Ru,"

"I hate you!"

"You'll fall again, stop wriggling!" Manda said in panic, sitting on the floor and holding him close to him on his lap so that he couldn't fall or go anywhere.

Ru went still, crying.

Rupert started slipping from the chair, dangerous as his daugter was on his lap.

Immy gave a cry as she felt herself start to fall, her foot hitting the floor first before she started to fall sideways. Steve was immeately over to catch her in his arms, body in the way to stop Rupert from falling anymore. Placing the girl down, he moved RUpert back into the chair, frowning and checking his breathing and pulse

"Baby, I love, I don't want you hurt again, please," Manda held him close, a tear slipping from his eye.

"Daddy...I'm sad..." Ru muttered, pressing his face into Manda.

Rupert was completely out.

"I know baby, it's okay, I'm here," Manda rested a hand on the back of his head, holding him close. "Why are you sad?"

Steve frowned and went to the corridor and called two guards in, getting them to help take Rupert to the bed where he put him in the revoery position and continued checks.

"King doesn't like me anymore..." whispered Ru.


Rupert looked pale.

"He does, baby, he's just very busy, like when daddy's busy and can't play. I'm sure he'll see you another time."

Steve frowned, checking, and setting up oxygen at the side in case.

"But I came to see him today..." Ru murmured.

Rupert had pretty much just fainted.

"I know, baby, but you did see him, didn't you? And he was nice today, wasn't he?"

Manda rocked him gently.

Immy had winced when tyring to walk to her daddy, and so had sat down on the floor, tears in her eyes.

Rupert came round a little. "Immy?"

"He didn't want me here..." whispered Ru.

"THat's not true, otherwise, he wouldn't have held your hand, or given you a hug."

"She's okay, she's over there," Steve gestured to her, having just sent a nurse over to the girl to check her foot, having seen the reaction to walking. "How are you feeling?" he asked Rupert softlt.

IMmy was listening to the nurse when she heard her dad's voice and looking to him, trying to stand but wincing, the nurse reaching out to steady and balance her. "Daddy..."

"Guilty...bring Immy here..." Rupert sighed.

Ru shook his head.

Steve nodded, going over to the little girl and picking her up, bringing her over he placed her on the bed beside him so that she was sitting up

Immy immeadiately moved to hug her dad. "Daddy..."

"You can see him later, if you want?"

"I'm sorry, sweety...I hurt you..." Rupert said softly, stroking her hair.

"No...he said he didn't want me..."

Immy shook her head. "It okay...adaddy alright?" she looked worried about her dad

"He said maybe later, remember?" Manda stroked though his hair.

Ru began to cry. "He liar!"

"Yes, are you?" Rupert pulled her to him.

"Well why don't we go see?" MAnda held him close

"Foot hurts..." Immy pressed against him.

"Steve check her foot!" Rupert ordered.

"No..."

Steve held back the smart comments, starting to look it over.

"You don't want to?"
